This Is Our Story
In English, “living” is translated as “life” or “living,” but in Japan, it often means “living room”—a space where families naturally gather and relax. Some read with tea, while others, like travelers, check their schedules. A local stops by for a quick drink after work, while a regular taxi driver drops in for a brief rest. Travelers from around the world staying in Kanazawa can also convene here, sometimes forming friendships with those seated beside them by chance. Our goal is to create a place that serves as a “third place” for diverse people—a space deeply rooted in the community and cherished for generations to come.
英語での Living は「生活」「暮らし」と訳されますが、日本では「居間」と解釈します。 「居間」は家族が自然に集まり、自由にリラックスできる場所。 本を片手にお茶する人。スケジュールを確認する旅人。会社帰りに軽く一杯飲みに来た地元民。常連のタクシードライバー。 金沢に滞在中の世界各国の旅人が集まり、たまたま隣に居合わせた人と仲良くなったりできる。 様々な人の「サードプレイス」として地域に根ざし、長く人々に愛されつづけられる場所となることを目指します。
